Indian Railways to Launch Sandbox for Startups: Ashwini Vaishnaw

In a bid to Foster Innovation, Railway and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Announced that Indian Railways will soon Introduce a Sandbox Policy to Support Startups. The initiative will allow Startups to Test New Technologies in a controlled Environment before scaling them up.

Speaking at the CII Annual Business Summit, Vaishnaw said the policy will be rolled out in the Next two months. The goal is to encourage fresh ideas that can improve efficiency, passenger experience, and safety in the railway system.

This move opens exciting opportunities for startups working in Tech, Logistics, and Mobility to Collaborate with one of India’s largest Public Sector systems and drive real-world impact.
